Can we Trust an Angel of Light?

After discovering false teaching hidden in the leadership of a church we were attending, we developed this study. Starting with Jude’s definition of a false teacher, looking at the question of whether satan or demons ever tell truth with their lies, and finally, Paul’s experiences in Ephesus. Later, he wrote warnings and encouragement to those same believers.

You’ll also get a look at the first Messianic prophecy in Scripture along the way! The study’s name?

Paul tells us plainly in 2 Corinthians 11:13-15:

 “…such men are false apostles, deceitful workers,
masquerading as Christ’s apostles.
And no wonder, for
even Satan masquerades as an angel of light.

It is no great thing therefore if
his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness,
<0>
whose end will be according to their works.”

Find out for yourself from Scripture – Can satan or demons be believed? Do they slip truth in with their lies? How DO we discern these things? Can we see their “drip, drip, drip” method as they create a slippery slope appearing to be safe in order to ensnare believers and render them ineffective? (Was that the reason God was SO adamant that ancient Israel families not marry pagan partners?! See Deuteronomy 7)

You can download the study today and explore it with a friend! (It’s probably best done in one sitting, but give yourselves ample time.)

All God’s best as you Discover Him!
